Four Promotion Tips and Tools for how to get the word out to your community that Art IS Education for your students, and join with the voices of others so that our message translates into changed policy and practices that bring arts learning to every child in every school, every day!

1. Post your event to the countywide calendar so the whole county knows what your students are doing! This calendar is used as a resource for your district and the county office of education to communicate with the press, policymakers and administrators about what is happening in your school district.

2. Invite your policymakers and the local press directly! You can download a contact list for your superintendent, school board, mayor, county, state and federal legislators as well as all the press outlets that cover your city. You can customize a sample press release.

3. Customize the readymade poster (zipped file of template and examples), flyer (zipped file of template and examples) or postcard templates with your event information to invite your parents and school community to your event.

4. Add the Art IS Education logo (zipped file of logos)to your program or take-away information so that everyone knows your event is part of the countywide showcase.
